What will happen next?

You need to make an appointment to see your GP

What are you are expected to provide your GP with?

Cardiovascular health assessments require a blood test. Your GP practice may have a nurse who can draw a blood sample for you, however in most cases you will be asked to visit your local hospital.

How long will it take to process?

Results turn-around times for blood tests organised through a GP vary. On average results should take 2 weeks.

What support will we provide you with?

Unfortunately, our Nutritional Therapy Team only provide on line support with certain tests that are purchased on-line. However, your GP will be able to provide you with the support you require with no fees involved.

Who carries out the test?

The NHS via your GP

How much will the cardiovascular assessment test cost?

If you do it with your GP then there should be no charge
